Cockington Makers’ Big Christmas Weekend

Join our tenants and creative makers for their Big Christmas Weekend event on Saturday 29 November and Sunday 30 November at Cockington Court Craft Centre.  

Visitors can soak up the festive atmosphere as well as enjoying live music, fresh roast chestnuts, artisan craft market and food trucks. There will be the chance to see glass blowing, blacksmith and ceramics demonstrations, treat yourself to a mulled wine, and shop at our Craft Studios for handcrafted unique Christmas decor and gifts. 

The event will be taking place in the Sea Change and Stable Yard Studios, which are located behind Cockington Court Manor House. The artisan market stalls will be located around the front of the Manor House. 

Please note, there is a suggested donation of 20p for entry to the craft market to assist with covering some of the costs of running the event. Buckets will be paced at entry points. 

Santa in the Clouds – part of the Big Christmas Weekend!

As part of the Big Christmas Weekend event, our tenants and creative makers have also organised a magical ‘Santa in the Clouds’ experience for children and families.  

Get ready to be transported to a winter wonderland where you can make unforgettable memories, meet Santa and share all of your festive wishes! Meet your dedicated Elf at the North Pole in the centre of Sea Change Studios and enjoy a guided craft session, before joining Santa in his sleigh and learning all about his preparations for Christmas Eve. 

After meeting Santa, each child will leave the Santa experience with a delicious handmade luxury hot chocolate drink provided by the Seven Dials café that they can enjoy decorating at the end of the experience.

Each ticket holder can also take advantage of 10% off at participating studios, market traders and the Seven Dials Café on the day of their Santa in the Clouds booking. You will need to show your ticket to redeem any discounts. Terms and conditions apply.
