Sculpture Trail 2024 - Calling all sculpture artists!
The popular Cockington Court Sculpture Trail, which sees contemporary sculptures appear around the grounds of Cockington Court is set to return for 2024, opening to the public from 28th July – 3rd November.
Building on the creativity and enthusiasm shown for our ‘Space’ themed Trail last year, this year’s ‘pirate’ theme promises a stunning display of fascinating pieces.
Artists are encouraged to allow their imagination to go wild and to use a wide variety of materials when designing a sculpture. Our pirates’ theme can be interpreted very broadly, to include anything from ships, flags, lands, historical pirates, stories, to treasure chests and treasure.
The sculpture trail attracts hundreds of visitors including art and culture enthusiasts, as well as families and children to explore the trail. The trail is being delivered by Cockington Court Centre Director, and artist, Marissa Wakefield.
