Sculpture Trail 2024
Ahoy art lovers, explorers and pirate enthusiasts! The Cockington Court sculpture trail returns this summer and you’re invited.
About the Sculpture Trail
Inspired by this year’s theme of ‘pirates and the deep sea’, the trail features over 30 different sculptures created by 24 local artists and sculptors. The free sculpture trail is one of Cockington Court’s most popular events and has been running annually since 2017.
Some of this year’s sculptures include a crow’s nest, skeleton mermaid, pirate ships, treasure chest and pirate figure head. Also, look out for Morgowr the sea serpent as she swims towards our café. Created by Totnes-based artist Malcolm Curley, the sculpture celebrates the legend of Cornwall’s very own sea monster. First sighted in 1876, it has been spotted many times since off the coast of Falmouth.
