Event Details:
- Meeting Point: Meet at 10 AM at James’ studio, where we’ll start our day together and James will give a brief talk to help you get started.
- Location Choices: After gathering at the studio, we’ll head out and you will have the option of picking from several picturesque spots: the tranquil lakes, the rose garden or cricket green near the house, or the surrounding woodland. You can choose where you’d like to spend your creative time.
- Materials: Please bring your own art supplies, whether it’s paints, pencils, sketchpads, or canvases. There is a limited supply of easels, chairs, view finders, available to borrow.
What to expect
- Freedom to Create: This is not a structured lesson, but a chance to immerse yourself in nature and create at your own pace.
- Guidance Available: James will make his way around to each area to chat and offer tips, feedback, and guidance as needed, but feel free to explore your own artistic process.
- Community Atmosphere: Enjoy the company of fellow artists, share ideas, and find inspiration from the surroundings and each other.
- Dress Appropriately: Please dress for all weather conditions as we’ll be outdoors for the entire session.
- Post-Session Gathering: We’ll meet back at the studio around 12:30 PM for refreshments. This is a great opportunity to discuss your work, exchange thoughts, and enjoy a relaxed chat with other participants.
